maximum length of messages sent is 512 characters (including any control codes, nick, spaces, channel, hostmask too i believe), and when this length is passed mirc (possibly other clients too) loses the excess (or the server does, whatever, it fucks up the message and people only see up to the cut off point)
nice little script to fix the problem here
dump it in your mirc folder and /load -rs autosplit.mrc
now the message gets split to a new line
note: i didn't write this, credits are intact, and it doesn't work with /me actions[/url]
